Memories of Ecuador

memories of Ecuador

A few days ago I was talking to Majo, a dear friend from Ecuador. We met in Lima in 2011 while we were studying fashion design, and we have remained in contact ever since. She recently started writing a beautiful blog about food, music, memories and other stuff. Reading it brought me the memories of the week we spent in Quito with her last year.

She hosted us andshared a part of her life, her family, and her country with us, just like she does in her blog.We had amazing homemade meals at her house that included the delicious “naranjilla” juice (which is a fruit like none you have ever tasted before!) and the spicy “tomatillo” sauce to accompany the food.

The city of Quito is so beautiful, surrounded by mountains. I just want to share some of the pictures of that trip so that you can see part of what we saw.

Hope you enjoy!
